To the leaders of the organization of the students of the Yeshivah*,
may Hashem grant you long life,
I greet you and bless you,
For a long time now, I have not received news from you. I have good hope that the lack is only in the writing here, but that all the activities are effectively carried out, that they are even increased, from time to time, that the addition itself gives rise to a further addition. Indeed, our Sages say that: "he who has one hundred coins desires two hundred," which is an addition of one hundred only. On the other hand, "he who has two hundred desires four hundred," which constitutes an addition of two hundred. This is quite evident.
May Hashem therefore grant that you make full use of the heavenly blessings, in all domains, and one knows the verdict rendered by the Heavenly Tribunal according to which, thanks to the self-sacrifice for the teaching of Chassidus* of which the Admur HaZaken* gave proof, those who are attached to him and follow his ways would prevail, in all that concerns the Torah*, the fear of Hashem, and good conduct. This also constitutes a channel and a receptacle for what concerns you personally, so that you know success in the study of the Torah*, the fear of Hashem, and the best practice of the Mitzvos*, which includes, on the part of each person, a fervent, profound prayer and the most elevated activities. זה זמן רב ביותר שלא נתקבלו מהם כל ידיעות. ותקותי חזקה שאין זה אלא חסרון בכתיבה לכאן, אבל נעשות כל הפעולות ובאופן דהוספה מזמן לזמן, והוספה בהוספה עצמה. ז.א. ע"ד מאמר רז"ל מי שיש לו מנה רוצה מאתיים, הוספה של מנה בלבד, אבל מי שיש לו מאתיים, רוצה ארבע מאות, הוספה של מאתיים, וק"ל.
ויהי רצון שינצלו את ההשפעה מלמעלה בכל ענינים אלו במילואה וכידוע הפסק דין של מעלה, אשר בגלל המסירות נפש הלזו (של רבינו הזקן) על תורת החסידות, פסקו בבית דין של מעלה, אשר בכל ענין של תורה יראת שמים ומדות טובות, תהי' יד מקושריו והולכי בעקבותיו על העליונה.
והרי זהו ג"כ הצנור והכלי לעניניהם להצלחתם בלימוד תורה ביראת שמים ובקיום המצות בהידור, ובזה [...] בעבודת התפלה של כאו"א, פנימיות הפעולות הכי נעלות.
