Volume 21 · Letter 421 · To: banquet annuel des auxiliaires féminines
By the grace of Hashem,
Eve of the holy Shabbos* Parshas Bo* 5719,
Brooklyn, New York,
To the annual banquet of the women's auxiliaries
of Brownsville and East New York of the
Yeshivos* Tomchei Temimim* Lubavitch,
I bless you and greet you,
You have informed me that your annual celebration, for the benefit of the Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim* Lubavitch, will take place this Tuesday, 11 Shevat*. I therefore address my greetings and my blessing to the leaders and to those in charge, as well as to the participants and the guests, who will have long days and good years, so that this celebration be a success, in the material and even spiritual domains.
Materially, it is a matter of collecting the aid that is awaited by the Yeshivos*, in order to strengthen their work. Spiritually, one must be conscious of the immense merit that constitutes the action for such a holy cause, ensure that each of you be profoundly attached to the spirit of Lubavitch, possess the Chassidic* warmth and clarity, introduce this spirit, in the broadest proportion, a spirit of love of Hashem, love of the Torah*, love of one's fellow, in one's own home and in one's surroundings.
The celebration will take place on the morrow of the Hilula* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, founder of these Yeshivos* here, in America. Each person knows that the words and blessings of the righteous are immutable. May the blessings, general and specific, of the one whose Hilula* we celebrate therefore accompany each person, with the members of his or her family, so that all may have long days and good years. With my blessing for success in all your needs, material and spiritual,
