To the young man Raphael Pinchas (note 1: Rav R. P. Goldstein, of Yerushalayim*. See, regarding him, letter no. 8153),

I greet you and bless you,

We have duly received your letter of Sunday, 1st day of Rosh Chodesh* Adar Rishon*, which briefly described your activities and those of your friends during the period that has just elapsed, since your last letter, in order to disseminate the wellsprings (note 2: Of Chassidus*), in particular, and Judaism, in general. You will therefore not content yourself with your current accomplishments. You will develop them broadly, as my letter to the youth of the Chabad* association of Rosh Chodesh* Shevat* 5718 explains (note 3: This is letter no. 6023), which was published by the Bitaon Chabad* (note 4: The organ of the youth of the Chabad* association in the Holy Land). Nothing resists the will, especially if one provides the fitting effort, investing oneself in it fully. In such a case, it is certain that such an effort is crowned with success and, on this subject, our Sages do not speak of comprehension, of perception, but indeed of a "find," as for a found object, which is without any comparison to the value expected from the outset. מאשרים קבלת מכתבו מיום הראשון אדר"ח אדר א', ר"[פ] מפעולותיו במשך זמן העבר ממכתבו הקודם וגם חביריו, בהפצת המעינות ביחוד והפצת היהדות בכלל, לא יסתפקו בהישגים דעד עתה, אלא יוסיפו בהם כהנה וכהנה, וע"ד המבואר במכתבי לצעירי אגודת חב"ד בר"ח שבט תשי"ח (נדפס בבטאון חב"ד). ואין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון, ובפרט, באם ההשתדלות היא כדבעי למהוי, ז.א. באופן דיגעת, שבודאי מתקיים הפתגם ומצאת. וכדיוק המבואר שלא נאמר הבנת השגת אלא ומצאת, באופן דמציאה, שהוא לא לפי ערך המשוער, וק"ל.
