To the leaders of the Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim* of Lod*,

may Hashem grant you long life,

I greet you and bless you,

I respond to your letters of 28 Adar Rishon*, with what was enclosed therein. I wrote to you (note 1: See, on this subject, letter no. 6466) regarding the land on which the building intended for the Chabad* school must be built. It is quite evident that I was merely formulating a remark, for the decision in this matter depends, in particular, on the means at one's disposal and on the conditions of the location. It goes without saying that a place that is not equipped with electricity is to be ruled out from the outset. I am surprised that you could have a doubt on this subject.

Regarding the plans for the construction of a new building intended for the Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim* at Kfar Chabad*, it seems to me that I have already written to you that the only remark that can be formulated from here is the following. A construction in stages is desirable, which means that, as long as the necessary means are not available, only one wing of the building will be completed, which can be used immediately. Subsequently, when supplementary means are available, the building can be enlarged by adapting it to the part that will already have been built. All of this is quite evident.

You are considering the organization of courses and, on this subject as well, I think I have written to you (note 2: See, on this subject, letters no. 8085 and 8145) that it is preferable to integrate into those that have already been organized for a long time, whose qualities and defects are therefore known, as well as the domains in which one must be vigilant. There is no reason to begin reflecting on such courses, which you would organize yourself in the greatest haste, and who knows which lecturer will be chosen? Other questions will also arise. It therefore seems to me that I wrote this: if the Chabad* members participating in this course are in a sufficiently large number, it will surely be possible to obtain the modification of the programs, to the extent that this proves necessary. אמיתיים וחשבונות יציבים.
לשאלה אודות גמילות חסד - ,למרבה הצער הסוחרים כאן כל כך
דחוקים ,שאודות גמ״ח ובפרט במדינה אחרת ,לא אוחזים בזה.
והשם יתברך יעזור לו בהרחבת הפרנסה באופן הולך וגדל ,המביא
אתו הרחבת הדעת ,שאז יש את כל הנחוץ לעשות בעניני תורה ומצות
כדרוש.
