By the grace of Hashem,

To the youth of the Chabad* association in our Holy Land,

may it be restored and rebuilt, grouping of

Tel Aviv*, may Hashem grant you long life,

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letter of 15 Menachem Av* and those that preceded it, with what was enclosed therein. May Hashem grant that you finally begin to announce good news to me, as it is said: "And you shall spread to the east and to the west, to the north and to the south," until obtaining an "inheritance without limit."

As I have written many times, you must not give news only of the plowing and the planting, but also of the harvest and the gathering of the fruits (note 1: Not only of the actions undertaken, but also of their results). And it is these latter that will be the best. Moreover, these fruits, in turn, will produce others. In forty days, it will be Rosh Hashanah* and one therefore begins to be inscribed and sealed for a good year, as well as to obtain, according to the formulation of the prayer (note 2: See, on this subject, Likkutei Sichos*, volume 19, page 564, and volume 24, page 583, as well as the references indicated therein. ויהי רצון שסו"ס יתחילו לבשר טוב, ואשר הטוב הוא באופן דופרצת ימי וקדמה וצפונה ונגבה ועד לנחלה בלי מצרים.

וכמו שכתבתי זה כ"פ, יודיעו לא רק על ענין דחרישה וזריעה בלבד, אלא גם על הענין של קצירה ואסיפת פירות, ויהיו פירות הכי טובים ובעיקר פירות עושים פירות.

ויהי רצון שכיון שנמצאים אנו ארבעים יום קודם ראש השנה, הנה תתחיל הכתיבה וחתימה טובה, וכנוסח הבקשה, הטוב לנו.
