By the grace of Hashem,

To the young men participating in the fixed study of Chassidus*,

may Hashem grant you long days and good years,

I greet you and bless you,

I received, with pleasure, your letter of 10 Kislev*, festival of the liberation of the Admur HaEmtzai*. You announce good news to me therein, since you have taken the positive resolution to fix a time for the study of Chassidus* during the holy Shabbos* and a public prayer service will take place subsequently. May Hashem grant that this study and this prayer be in conformity with the teachings of our masters, whose merit will protect us. The study will therefore lead to action and the prayer will attach the one who pronounces it to the One Who answers it. Subsequently, one will retain its trace throughout the day and during the entire following week.

You have the merit of being students of the holy Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim*, which combines both the study of the revealed part of the Torah* and that of its profound teaching, so that the profound dimension illuminates the evident part. In your conduct and in all that concerns you, you must therefore be worthy of the expression employed regarding all the students of the Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim*: "a candle to illuminate," as our masters ask of you, who also instill the necessary strength to achieve this. With my blessing to study the Torah* with fear of Hashem, to pray in the fitting manner, and, more generally, to put the Mitzvos* into practice in the best manner, in good health,

בנועם קבלתי מכתבם מיום יו"ד כסלו, חג הגאולה של כ"ק אדמו"ר האמצעי, מבשרים טוב מהחלטתם הטובה, לקבוע זמן לימוד דא"ח ביום הש"ק ותפלה בצבור לאחרי זה.

ויהי רצון שיהי' הלימוד והתפלה מתאימים להוראת רבותינו זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, לימוד המביא לידי מעשה, ותפלה המחברת את המתפלל עם השומע תפלה, ובאופן שיהי' רישומם ניכר אחרי כן כל היום כולו, ובמשך כל השבוע הבא לאחריו.

וכיון שזכו אשר לומדים הם בישיבה הק' תומכי תמימים, המאחדת לימוד הנגלה ולימוד הפנימיות גם יחד ובאופן אשר הפנימיות מאירה את הנגלה, הרי בכל הנהגותיהם ועניניהם יתאימו לתוארו של כל אחד מתלמידי תומכי תמימים, נר להאיר,

כמצוה עליהם מרבותינו נשיאינו, אשר ציווי זה הוא גם כן נתינת כח.

בברכה לתלמוד תורה ביראת שמים, עבודת התפלה כדבעי, וקיום המצות בכללות בהידור -מתוך בריאות הנכונה,
