Igrot Kodesh · Letter 8214 — Tzedakah

By the grace of Hashem,

5 Shevat* 5721 (note 1: 1961),

To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to

communal needs, Rav Chaim Zusya (note 2: Rav C. Z. Wilimovski. See, regarding him, letter no. 7879),

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letters of 25 Teves*, with those that preceded them, as well as your request for blessing. Chassidus* comments, in these terms, the Parashah* of the week (note 3: Parshas Beshalach*): "When Pharaoh sent forth: He sent them forth and caused the fruit thereof to sprout above, so that the salvation of Israel might germinate. He drew the heart of Israel close to their Father Who is in heaven," according to the Torah Or*, at the beginning of Parshas Beshalach*.

May Hashem therefore grant that it be likewise in the domains where one observes, with one's eyes of flesh, at the present time, obstacles and veils and that one therefore go to the other extreme, so that you multiply your success in the points you mention, within all that concerns the Torah* and the Mitzvos*. In this way, they (note 4: The opponents) will be transformed and they will bring their assistance, in a visible and tangible good. With my blessing to give good news of all of this,

יהי' כן בכל הפרטים שלע"ע נראים לעיני בשר למונעים ומסתירים, ויתהפכו לקצה השני, שהם ירבו בהצלחה בהענינים אודותם כותב, בתוככי כלל עניני תורה ומצוה, שיתהפכו למסייעים בטוב הנראה והנגלה.
