To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,
Rav Betzalel (note 1: Rav B. Wilshanski, of Sydney, Australia. See, regarding him, letter no. 5902),
I greet you and bless you,
You ask me about the terms of the Sefer Yetzirah* appearing in the Tikkun* that is recited during the night of Shavuos* (note 2: See, on this subject, Likkutei Sichos*, volume 28, page 315), this passage being only the beginning and the conclusion of this book. In the Sefer Yetzirah* printed independently and in its integral version, the formulation is the following: "There are three positive visions: the humble eye, the benevolent eye and the faithful eye. There are three bad elements for the tongue: evil speech, tale-bearing and hypocrisy. There are three good elements for the tongue: silence, the precaution of speech and the word of truth." If I had the power, I would have established that this passage be the one that appears in the Tikkun* of Shavuos*.
