By the grace of Hashem,

I greet you and bless you,

You inform me of your birthday and here is my response. You have surely conformed to the custom recently adopted by the Chassidim*, on this occasion. May Hashem therefore grant that you have a year of success, in the study of the Torah* and the practice of the Mitzvos*, in the best manner. With my blessing to study the Torah* with fear of Hashem,

I also respond to the question you pose to me. One succeeds in feeling the value of the Torah* by meditating on the words of our Sages who explain what it is, who show its greatness. In addition, you will consult the Tanya*, in particular chapters 4, 5 and 23, as well as the Bayis Chadash* on the Tur*, Orach Chaim*, chapter 47.
