To the participants of the second annual gathering of the

female auxiliaries of the Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim*,

in Montreal, may Hashem grant you long life,

I bless you and greet you,

You have informed me that the second annual gathering of your female auxiliaries has been set for the coming 4 Shevat*. May Hashem grant that it meet with great success, both quantitative, through the number of participants, and qualitative, through larger and more numerous contributions. Moreover, one will surely not be satisfied with this alone, but one will make an addition thereto, many times over. For, if, in every era and in every place, our holy Torah* commands us to know the elevation in the domain of holiness, how much more must this be the case in our days and in these regions, where the demand is very great.

It is clear and evident that an increase in need reveals greater forces, broader possibilities, as well as the help of Hashem, for "Hashem is good and upright." We are a few days from the Hilloula* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, leader of Israel, who gave of himself to disseminate Judaism, the Torah* and the Mitzvos*, in general, Chassidus* and what concerns it, in particular. He himself invokes an immense mercy, he brings about the gathering and the success of your action on behalf of the Yeshivah* Tomchei Temimim*. May Hashem grant that you act in this sense, with true and profound joy and enthusiasm. With my blessing to all the participants of this gathering, as well as to the members of their families,
