By the grace of Hashem,

I bless you and greet you,

I respond to your letter (note 1: This letter is addressed to a woman) of 25 Teves*, in which you describe to me your state of mind, in general. In such a situation, the solution (note 2: See, on this subject, letter no. 8271) is well known. You must engrave in your mind the idea of Divine Providence, which is a fundamental principle of our faith and of our holy Torah*, Torah* of life. Chassidus* Chabad*, in particular, explains at length that Divine Providence applies to each man and each woman, down to the smallest detail. The Holy One, blessed be He, is the Essence of good. Now, it is in the nature of the One Who is good to do good. There is therefore no reason to be worried and sad. According to the terms of the singer of Israel (note 3: King David*), "Hashem is with me, I am not afraid. Hashem is my Shepherd, I shall lack nothing." Moreover, you have observed and you continue to observe the kindnesses of Hashem, in a concrete manner. Hashem has granted you His blessing and you have a husband, charming children. Furthermore, you have the merit and the success of taking part and contributing to education based on sacred values, bringing the hearts of the children of Israel closer to our Father Who is in Heaven. And, one knows the saying of the Baal Shem Tov* (note 4: See, on this subject, letter no. 7570) according to which the Holy One, blessed be He, loves every Jewish man and every Jewish woman infinitely more than aged parents love their only son, born when they were already aged.

A person must do what depends on him, by intervening according to the ways of nature. In this case, one may think that your moral state depends on a weak state of health. It would therefore be good for you to consult a physician and to conform to his prescriptions. I address to you my blessing of success in your sacred mission, which has been previously defined. You will also direct your home, which is also part of this sacred mission, for this depends essentially on the mistress of the house. And, you will give me good news of this, in joy and enthusiasm. במענה למכתבה מכ"ה טבת. בו כותבת אודות מצב רוחה ובכלל.

בכגון זה ידועה עצה היעוצה להיות חקוק במוח זכרונה עניני השגחה פרטית, שהוא מיסודי אמונתנו ותורתנו הק' תורת חיים, ובפרט ע"פ המבואר בארוכה בתורת חסידות חב"ד איך שהשגחה פרטית היא על כל אחד ואחת ועד לפרטי פרטים, והרי הקב"ה הוא עצם הטוב ומטבע הטוב להיטיב ובמילא זהו שולל האפשרית של דאגות ועצבות, שהרי בלשון נעים זמירות ישראל, ה' לי לא אירא, ה' רועי לא אחסר, ובפרט אשר ראתה ורואה חסדי השי"ת בפועל, שברכה השי"ת בבעל ובילדים נחמדים וכו', ועוד זאת וזכתה והצליחה שיש לה חלק ומשתתפת בחינוך על טהרת הקדש לקרב את לבן של בני ישראל לאבינו שבשמים, וידוע פתגם הבעש"ט אשר אהבת הקב"ה לכל אחד מבני ובנות ישראל, הוא יותר באין ערוך מאהבת הורים זקנים לבן יחידם שנולד להם לעת זקנותם.

ומאחר שעל האדם לעשות בדרך הטבע התלוי בו ויש מקום לומר שמצב רוח קשור ג"כ במצב חלישות בריאותה - בכלל, מהנכון שתשאל רופא עד"ז ותמלא הוראתו.

בברכת הצלחה בעבודתה בקדש האמורה וגם הנהגת הבית שגם זה עבודתה בקדש ותלוי בעיקר בהאשה עקרת הבית ולבשו"ט מתוך שמחה וטוב לבב.
