You ask me (note 1: This letter is addressed to Rav Alexander Ziskind Bunin. See, regarding him, letters no. 8187 and 8515), regarding the talks and the lectures on Chabad*, whether you should concentrate on one same place and remain there or whether it is preferable to seek a different location each time. In my opinion, even though it is important, above all, to light the candle of each Jew, as it is said: "the candle of Hashem is the soul of man," in the manner of Behaalosecha* (note 2: By bringing him elevation), as the Likkutei Torah* explains, at the beginning of Parshas Behaalosecha* and therefore to visit many places, all the more since, very often, after the first lighting, "the flame rises of itself," it nonetheless remains necessary to concentrate your visits on two or three points.

You complain of not observing immediate results, on various occasions. On this subject, you will consult the Likkutei Torah* (note 3: Parshas Bechukosai*, page 49d), which establishes the distinction to be made between sowing and planting (note 4: The former concerns the grain of wheat which produces an abundant and rapid harvest, whereas the latter is said of the seed that will give birth to a tree, at the end of a long period, so that it will bear fruit only much later).

ולכן יש להרבות במספר המקומות שמבקר - ובפרט שלאחרי ההדלקה ראשונה בכמה פעמים ומקרים "השלהבת עולה מאלי'"

בכ"ז כדאי שבב'-ג' מקומות יבקר ג"כ באופן מסודר.
