To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to

communal needs, with multiple accomplishments,

I greet you and bless you,

I learned, with pleasure, from the list of volunteers, that you are active in developing the school integrating young people among the new immigrants, in Kfar Chabad*. This institution, based on sacred values, has as its objective to bring the immigrant youth closer to our Father Who is in the heavens. Happy is the lot of all those who take part in this important accomplishment, for their own good and for that of the members of their family, a visible and tangible good. At a propitious moment, I cited all your names at the resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit will protect us.

We are currently between two deliverances, that of Purim* and that of Pesach*. In the one as in the other, the children of Israel were at the center of the events and the redemption was obtained by their merit. Thus, our Sages speak (note 2: In the Midrash Esther Rabbah*, chapter 9, paragraphs 3 and 4) of the twenty-two thousand children devoted to study that Mordechai* the Righteous assembled and to whom he taught the Torah*. And, it is said that, at the exodus from Egypt, "they (note 3: The children who were nourished, in Egypt, by divine miracles) recognized Him first" (note 4: According to tractate Sotah* 11b). In addition, all that concerns Pesach* is linked to the Mitzvah*: "You shall tell your son," which applies to the four sons that the Torah* defines (note 5: And, that the Haggadah* of Pesach* presents). May Hashem cause the merit of this action destined to spread the Torah* and the Mitzvos*, in general, to protect you, as well as all the other participants. Within all the people of the children of Israel, you will know true freedom, material and spiritual, freedom from all that constitutes an obstacle to the service of Hashem, in joy and enthusiasm. With my blessing for a kosher and joyous festival of Pesach*,

בנועם נודעתי שכת"ר שי' פועל (כנמצא ברשימת המתנדבים) להרחבת המוסד בכפר חב"ד לקליטת הנוער של העולים החדשים, מוסד על טהרת הקדש לקרב את הנוער העולה לאבינו שבשמים.

ואשרי חלקם של כל אלו המשתתפים בפועל גדול זה, לטוב להם ולבני ביתם שי', בטוב הנראה והנגלה.

בעת רצון הזכרתי את כולם על ציון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נבג"מ זי"ע.

ובהמצאנו בין גאולה לגאולה, בין גאולת פורים לגאולת פסח, אשר בזו אף זו היו ילדי ישראל במרכז המאורעות ובזכותם באה הגאולה, וכמסופר מחכמינו ז"ל ע"ד כ"ב אלף תינוקות של בית רבן שקיבל מרדכי הצדיק ולימדם תורה, ובגאולת מצרים הרי "הם הכירוני תחילה", עד שעניני פסח קשורים במצות והגדת לבנך, כולל כל ארבעה סוגי בנים כנגדם דברה תורה - יהי רצון שזכות העבודה הנ"ל והפצת התורה ומצוות בכלל ישראל יעמוד לכת"ר ולכל המשתתפים, ויזכו בתוככי כללות עם בני ישראל לחירות אמתית, חירות בגשמיות וחירות ברוחניות, חירות מכל הענינים המבלבלים בעבודת ה' מתוך שמחה וטוב לבב.
