Igrot Kodesh · Letter 8426 — Faith & Bitachon
Volume 22 · Letter 209 · To: élèves achevant leur scolarité à l’école élémentaire
By the grace of Hashem,
Rosh Chodesh* Sivan* 5722,
Brooklyn, New York,
To the students completing their schooling at the elementary school
Beis Rivkah* of Montreal, may Hashem grant you long life,
I bless you and greet you,
In response to your request, on the occasion of the first graduation ceremony of the elementary school Beis Rivkah* of Montreal, the Rebbe* Shlita* was kind enough to address to you the enclosed extract (note 1: This is the following letter), destined for your annual album. Simultaneously, the Rebbe* Shlita* expressed his fervent hope that the graduating students will always maintain the awareness of what must be their objective, of what is expected of them, after having attended Beis Rivkah*, all the more so since they were the first to complete their schooling there. They must therefore give a living and inspiring example of what must be the daily conduct of Jewish young women, in the true and full sense of the term, descendants of our mothers Sarah*, Rivkah*, Rachel* and Leah*, that is to say a true life, according to the Torah*, Torah* of life and its Mitzvos*, of which it is said (note 2: Yechezkel* 13, 21 and 20, 11): "One shall live by them."
Likewise, the Rebbe* Shlita* addresses to you his holy blessing that you have the broadest success, both materially and spiritually. With my blessing for a joyous festival (note 3: Of Shavuos*), to receive the Torah* with joy and in a profound manner,
