To the great Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem

and devotes himself to communal needs,

Rav Chaim Mordechai HaKohen (note 1: Rav Ch. M. Perlov. See, regarding him, letter no. 8423),

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letter from the conclusion of Shabbos* Parshas Behaaloscha*, as well as the one that preceded it. It is clear that if one does not accept a Mikveh* with two superimposed basins (note 2: Rav Perlov wrote: "We have transmitted, to the members of the community in charge of the Mikveh*, the remark of the Rebbe* Shlita* on the necessary rectification, with a reservoir under the floor and a passage on the side. They have promised to act accordingly." See, on this subject, letter no. 8423), one must place two on the side, one for the rainwater to pass through and the other to contain it. You make allusion to nylon and plastic (note 3: To seal the openings of the Mikveh*). It seems to me almost certain that there have been changes (note 4: Of composition) in this matter and that there still are some, from time to time, regarding the raw materials used in their manufacture. The Rebbe Rashab* considers that rubber contracts impurity (note 5: See, on this subject, letter no. 5320). There is therefore no reason to use it for this purpose.

... פשוט שבמקום שלא יסכימו למקוה זעג"ז - יש לעשות מן הצד, ושניים: לזריעה ולהשקה.

לכתבו ע"ד ניילאן ופלאסטיק - כמדומה (קרוב לודאי) ישנם שינויים (עתה, ומשתנה גם מזמן לזמן) בהנוגע להדברים מהם עושים הנ"ל. וכיון שכ"ק אדנ"ע מחשב גומי לדבר המקב"ט - אין להשתמש גם בהנ"ל.

בעת רצון יזכירוהו וכל אלה שכותבם על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע.
