I respond to your letter, in which you specify your state of health and you indicate the opinion of the doctors. You will be right to write that many cases are similar to yours or perhaps even more serious. If one adopts the appropriate conduct, one can cause a stone to disappear without a surgical intervention being necessary. For this, it is necessary, in particular, to take hot baths, to drink large quantities of a liquid containing, for example, a vegetable fat. It would be good to consult the doctors on this subject. Your letter does not clearly indicate where this stone is located. Sometimes, one can reach it with an appropriate clamp and crush it. In such a case, the evacuation is thereby facilitated. In any event, Hashem heals all flesh and He accomplishes wonders. He will therefore grant you healing, through the appropriate treatment and the fitting physician.

It is surely unnecessary to explain to you at length the necessity of intensifying your practice of the Torah* and the Mitzvos*. במענה למכתבו, בו כותב אודות מצד בריאותו ודעת הרופאים.

וצדק בכתבו אשר כמה מקרים דומים לשלו ואולי עוד יותר חמורים, הרי ע"י הנהגה מתאימה יורד האבן מבלי נתוח ובהנהגה האמורה הוא גם אמבטיות חמות השתי' בכמויות חשובות אלא שגם נוהגים שבהמשקים תהי' גם כמות שומן צמחוני וכיו"ב, וכדאי לשאול את הרופאים בזה.

אין ברור כ"כ ממכתבו מקום האבן, כי לפעמים יש לגעת אליו ע"י צבת מתאימה לפצלו, שאז הירידה שלו בנקל יותר.

והשי"ת הרופא כל בשר ומפליא לעשות ירפאהו ע"י טפול מתאים ורופא מתאים.

ובודאי למותר להאריך ע"ד הוספה בעניני תורה ומצות שנוסף על הציווי וגם זה עיקר להעלות בקדש בכל עת, הרי ההוספה מוסיפה בברכת השי"ת, וק"ל.

בטח יודע משלשת השיעורים דחומש תהלים ותניא הידועים ועכ"פ ישמור עליהם מכאן ולהבא.
