To Mrs. Rachel (note 1: Mrs. Rachel Zamir. See, regarding her, letter no. 8315),

I bless you and greet you,

I respond to your letter of 26 Sivan* and to the one that followed it. I thank you for the good news that you communicate to me, concerning the kindergarten and the school, as well as the closing celebration (note 2: Of the school year). No doubt one endeavors (note 3: See, on this subject, letters no. 5699 and 8440), in your school and in all the others belonging to the network (note 4: Of the schools Oholei Yosef Yitzchak* Lubavitch in the Holy Land), to remain in contact with the students (note 5: The Rebbe* specifies: "boys and girls") also during the vacation, all the more so since it lasts several weeks. Indeed, our Sages say (note 6: In the Yerushalmi*, at the end of tractate Berachos*) that: "If you abandon Me for one day, I will abandon you for two days." There are various ways of maintaining such a bond, diverse manners of doing so, which, furthermore, are not the same from one country to another and from one place to another. In this matter, "salvation comes from the numerous counselors." May Hashem cause success to be achieved in this domain as well, especially if one takes into account the importance and the value of what is at stake.

At a propitious moment, I will mention all those you cite near the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit will protect us, in conformity with what you write to me.

ובודאי משתדלים היא וכן בשאר בתי ספר הרשת שיהי' קישור ע[ם] התלמידים-ות שי' גם בימי החופש, ובפרט אשר נמשך הוא משך כו"כ שבועות, ואמרו חז"ל אם תעזבני יום יומים אעזבך, וכמה אופנים ודרכים בזה (גם שמשתנים ממדינה למדינה וממקום למקום) בנוגע לקשר האמור, ותשועה ברוב יועץ. ויהי רצון שגם זה יהי' בהצלחה, ובפרט בהתבונן בחשיבות הענין וערכו...

בעת רצון יזכירו כל שכותבת אודותם על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע מתאים לתוכן כתבה...
