To the attention of Mr. Moshe Aram (note 1: See, regarding him, letter no. 8386),

I greet you and bless you,

I learned, with pleasure, through your letter of 23 Sivan*, that you visited Kfar Chabad*, with your friends and that you had an exchange with our leaders on the problems of this village. No doubt concrete consequences and effective achievements will result from it. In fact, this moment is propitious for this, since I received both your letter and the information from the committee of Kfar Chabad* in proximity to the propitious days of the liberation of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit will protect us (note 2: The 12 and 13 Tammuz*).

You surely know what happened, at this time of year, at that moment, until the liberation of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, in the country where he previously resided (note 3: In Soviet Russia), following the long struggle he waged to protect the values of our people, despite the dictatorship, the powerful and arrogant regime. Furthermore, he carried away the victory and one still observes the fruits and the fruits of the fruits. In fact, we can deduce from this (note 4: See, on this subject, letters no. 8465, 8466 and 8644) the power of a single Jew, when he takes a firm resolution and effectively gives of his own person. This invites and incites each of us to action, since divine Providence has granted us the merit of living and acting in free countries, without the slightest persecution, under conditions that are infinitely more agreeable and easier (note 5: Than in Russia). With my respects, my blessing on the occasion of the festival of the liberation and in expectation of your good news,

שלום וברכה!

בנועם קבלתי הידיעה במכתבו מכ"ג סיון ע"ד ביקורו בלוית חבריו שי' בכפר חב"ד, ומשיחת באי כוחנו אתם על בעיות הכפר וכו', שבודאי יביאו לתוצאות ממשיות ולמעשים בפועל.

ויומא קא גרים שקבלתי מכתבו וכן הידיעה מועד כפר חב"ד בסמיכות לימי הסגולה והגאולה של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נבג"מ זי"ע יב-יג תמוז, אשר בודאי ידועה לכ' פרשת הימים ההם בזמן הזה, עת שנשתחרר כ"ק מו"ח ממאסרו במדינתו לפנים אחרי מלחמתו הממושכה להגן על קדשי עמנו על אף הדיקטטורה והמשטר הענקי והעז. ולא עוד אלא שנצח במלחמתו אשר עדין עושה פירות ופירי פירות. נמצאנו למדים כמה גדול כוחו אפילו של יהודי אחד אם רק יש לו ההחלטה התקיפה ומסירות נפש בפועל. ומכאן ההתעוררות והחיוב למעשה בהנוגע לכל אחד ואחד מאתנו אשר ההשגחה העליונה זיכתה אותנו לחיות ולפעול במדינות חפשיות מגזירות וכו' ובתנאים שלא בערך נוחים וקלים יותר.
