To my close relative, the Rav, distinguished Chassid who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs,

I greet and bless you,

On this day, that of the Bar Mitzvah of your son Moshe Shlomo, I address to you, with the present, my blessings, in addition to the telegram I sent you. May he grow up, fear Hashem, be a Chassid and a scholar. You will lead him to the Torah, to the chuppah*, and to good deeds, in abundance. Chassidus* explains all of this.

I thank you for having sent here the announcement regarding the elections[2] and the press clipping that speaks of the niggun* of the Rav of Liadi.[3] You will surely continue to do so in the future, and I thank you for it.

I await good news of the little girl, and indeed, may Hashem grant that you announce to me only good news, in general and concerning yourself in particular.

I thank you for having given me the report of the festival of 19 and 20 Kislev, as well as that of the Shabbos that blesses the month. You will surely make the effort to organize such gatherings often, and you will redouble your ardor in spreading the wellsprings of Chassidus* outward, for such is our mission at the present time.

I read your request for blessing for your son while I was at the resting place, on the eve of Rosh Chodesh. The tzaddik* who departs this world is there more than during his lifetime, and he has no doubt granted his blessing, which Hashem will fulfill in full.

I have heard that a shiur in Chassidus* is being given in the Beis Yisroel neighborhood,[4] and the one who gives it benefits from financial aid from the Kollel Chabad. Now, this aid has been suspended for several months already. Perhaps the shiur will be weakened by this, or even cancelled, may Hashem prevent it.

I do not know the reason for this suspension, which must surely be motivated. Nevertheless, it calls into question a public shiur of the teaching of our leader. I hope you will find a solution and that it will not be interrupted, may Hashem protect us. If there is no other alternative, we will send you this financial aid from here.

You speak to me of establishing a Chassidus* shiur in different places, and you tell me that, for this, teachers and seforim are needed. You will kindly elaborate on your point. Which neighborhoods are concerned, and who could be the teachers? What seforim do you need? Without making it a vow, I will then see what it will be possible for me to do.

ביום זה, יום הכנס בנו משה שלמה שי' לעונת הבר מצוה, הנני לשלוח בזה ברכותי, נוסף על הטלגרמה ששלחתי, שיגדל להיות ירא שמים חסיד ולמדן, ויגדלוהו לתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים מתוך הרחבה, כפי שנתבארו כל הענינים האלה בתורת החסידות.

ת"ח על שלחו לכאן המודעה ע"ד הבחירות וכן הקטע מהגליון ע"ד ניגון הרב מליאדי, ובטח יעשה כן גם להבא ות"ח מראש על הטרחה בזה.

אחכה לבשורות טובות על דבר הילדה... תי' ויה"ר שיוכל לבשר תמיד אך טוב בכלל ובפרט.

ת"ח על הודעתו מחגיגת ט-י, יט-כ כסלו וכן בשבת מברכים. בטח ישתדלו גם להבא להתועד לפרקים קרובים ולהוסיף אומץ בהפצת המעיינות חוצה, שזהו תפקידנו עתה בזמן הזה.

הפ"נ בעד בנו שי' קראתי בהיותי על הציון בערב ר"ח, וצדיקא דאתפטר, דאשתכח בהאי עלמא יתיר מבחיוהי, בטח נתן ברכתו והשי"ת ימלאה על מילואה.

נודעתי אשר בשכונת בית ישראל ישנו שיעור בחסידות והמשפיע הוא הרה"ח וכו' ר'... שהוא ג"כ ממקבלי תמיכה מכולל חב"ד. אבל זה חדשים אחדים שהפסיקו את תמיכתו, ובמילא אפשר שעל ידי זה יהי' חלישות או אפילו ביטול לגמרי ח"ו של השיעור הנ"ל.

איני יודע הטעם למה הפסיקו התמיכה להנ"ל, ובטח הי' טעמם ונימוקם עמם, אבל בשים לב שזה מטיל בספק שיעור ברבים בתורת נשיאנו, אקוה שישתדל למצוא מוצא באופן שלא יהי' ח"ו הפסק בהשיעור, ואם אי אפשר בלאו הכי הרי גם מכאן נשתתף בתמיכה הנ"ל.

מה שכותב ע"ד התיסדות שיעורים בדא"ח בכמה מקומות, וכותב שנצרך לזה משפיע וספרים, הנה מטובו להודיעני יותר פרטים בזה, היינו באיזה שכונות, מי הם המשפיעים וכו' ולאיזה ספרים מתכון, ואשתדל בל"נ לראות מה יש ביכלתי לעשות בזה.
