By the grace of Hashem,

To Mr. Avraham Krinitzi (note 1: See, regarding him, letter no. 7447),

I greet you and bless you,

I learned, from the Chassidim*, that your birthday is being celebrated and that you will be seventy-five years old, for long days and good years. I therefore wish you all the good and, as we discussed, this will be above all a tangible good, good health. However, our people is: "a unique nation on the earth" (note 2: See, on this subject, letter no. 8414). It unites, jointly, materiality and spirituality. Now, "there is no good but the Torah*" (note 3: According to tractate Avos*, chapter 6, at the Mishnah* 3). May Hashem therefore cause that, in good health and with the fitting enthusiasm, you use your influence to make of your city (note 4: That of Ramat Gan) a place of Torah*, down to the smallest detail and detail of detail. According to the terms of the verse, "Avraham* was unique." Now, he inherited the entire city!

I will conclude the present letter as I began it by wishing you a year of success and a fruitful work. נודעתי מאנ"ש שי' שחוגגים יום הולדתו למלאות לו חמש ושבעים שנה, לאורך ימים ושנים טובות. והנני לאחל לו כל טוב. וכמו שדברנו, ענין הטוב הוא לכל לראש בטוב הנגלה ובריאות הנכונה וכו', אבל יחד עם זה הרי עמנו ישראל הוא גוי אחד בארץ המאחד גשמיות ורוחניות כאחד, ואין טוב אלא תורה. ויהי רצון שמתוך בריאות הנכונה ובמרץ המתאים ינצל השפעתו לעשות עירו מקום תורה בכל הפרטים ופרטי פרטים.

ובסגנון הכתוב - אחד הי' אברהם ויירש את העיר.

ובחתימה מעין הפתיחה הנני לאחל לו שנת הצלחה ועבודה פורי', יחד עם נתינת תודה בעד עזרתו לעניני חב"ד, אשר בודאי גם בזה ימשיך באופן דמוסיף והולך.
