To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, the Rav Ben Tzion (note 1: Rav B. T. Gershuni, of Yerushalayim*),

I greet you and bless you,

I received, with satisfaction, your greetings, through the intermediary of Mr. Tzvi Kra, who also related to me, although very briefly, in what manner you work under the same roof. May Hashem cause you to use the capacities with which Divine Providence has graced you to disseminate traditional Judaism, in an ever-increasing manner, illuminating ever more, in joy and enthusiasm. Thus, the success of your work will be greater, as one can verify concretely and as this has been the case many times. I would like to receive good news of all this.

To someone like you, it is surely unnecessary to add that what has just been said includes also and essentially, a strengthening of the time you fix for your own study of the Torah*, of its revealed part and of Chassidus*. Furthermore, one knows the great necessity to study the profound dimension of the Torah* which has been revealed through Chassidus*, in our generation, in this era of the heel of Moshiach* (note 2: Just before his coming) and in our Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt, a land of which it is said that: "the eyes of Hashem your Elokim* are turned toward it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year." With my respects and my blessing in order to give me good news,

נעם לי לקבל פ"ש ממנו ע"י מר צבי שי' קרא אשר סיפר לי ג"כ, אף כי ראשי פרקים, מעבודתם בצל קורה אחת.

ויהי רצון אשר ינצל כשרונותיו אשר חונן בהם מהשגחה העליונה והאפשריות שניתנה לו - להפצת היהדות המסורתית הלוך והוסיף הלוך ואור ומתוך שמחה וטוב לבב אשר על ידי זה מתוסף בהצלחת העבודה כנראה מוחש ומעשה רב, וינעם לי להתבשר טוב בכל האמור.

בודאי לדכוותי' למותר להוסיף, אשר האמור כולל ג"כ - ומהעיקרים בזה - הוספה בקביעות עתים לתורה לעצמו הן בנגלה והן בחסידות ובפרט ע"פ המבואר בגודל ההכרח בלימוד פנימיות התורה שנתגלתה בתורת החסידות בימינו בדרא עקבתא דמשיחא ובאה"ק ת"ו, ארץ עלי' נאמר עיני ה"א בה מראשית השנה ועד אחרית שנה.
