To the attention of Rav Yaakov Goldman,

I greet you and bless you,

It has been a long time since I have had news from you directly. Nevertheless, the Chassidim* give me news, from time to time, and they inform me, positively, about the interest you manifest and the help you bring. Without doubt, as for all that concerns good and holiness, you will strengthen all of this, in particular in our era and in our Holy Land, where the necessity of an education based on sacred values is felt even more.

This year is the one hundred and fiftieth since the passing of the Admur HaZaken*, author of the Tanya* and the Shulchan Aruch*, father of the Chabad* movement and of its philosophy. It is therefore a propitious year, a year of blessing for all those who devote themselves to education based on sacred values. It is known to what extent the masters of Chabad* underlined the importance of such an education.

May Hashem send His blessing to you yourself and to all your family. May He grant success to the work of your hands. With my respects and my blessing in order that you give me good news,

זה זמן רב לא שמעתי מכ' באופן ישר, אבל אנ"ש שי', שולחים לי פ"ש ממנו מזמן לזמן ומבשרים טוב מהתענינותו ועזרתו. ובודאי כבכל עניני טוב וקדושה יוסיף גם בזה, בפרט שבתקופתנו ובאה"ק הכרח חינוך על טהרת הקדש הוא כמה פעמים ככה.

והרי שנה זו, שנת המאה וחמשים להסתלקותו של אדמו"ר הזקן בעל התניא והשלחן ערוך, אבי תנועת חב"ד ושיטתה, היא שנת סגולה וברכה לכל העוסקים בשטח החנוך על טהרת הקדש, וכידוע עד כמה הפליגו נשיאי חב"ד בעסקנות החנוך.

והשי"ת ישלח ברכתו לו ולכל אשר לו ופועל ידיו יצליח.
