By the grace of Hashem,

To the members of the electoral commission of Kfar Chabad*,

founded and directed by my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, chief of Israel,

may Hashem grant you long life,

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letter of the first day of Rosh Chodesh* Adar*, with what was enclosed, as well as your previous correspondence. You inform me of the result of the elections. May Hashem therefore cause the elected committee to be equal to its functions, in conformity with the hope of the founder of Kfar Chabad*, my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, that it strengthen Kfar Chabad* both materially and spiritually, adding, advancing, and illuminating.

Indeed, Hashem has chosen (note 1: See the Tanya*, at chapter 49) the sons and daughters of Israel, even if, in their coarseness, they resemble the nations of the world. All our chiefs and masters, since the Admur HaZaken*, this year being the one hundred and fiftieth since his passing, have underlined the importance of love of one's fellow. The influence of Chabad* will therefore spread in the same manner, adding, advancing, and illuminating. As has been underlined many times (note 2: See, in particular, letter no. 4404), the Kfar will be the center from which the wellsprings (note 3: Of Chassidus*) will spread to the outside, wellsprings of the words of the living Hashem, in all our Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt, until penetrating matter and the body, as has been said.

You will therefore accomplish all of this with true joy and enthusiasm. It is said that: "the wine belongs to the master, but one is grateful to him who pours it" and you will consult, on this subject, the Sefer HaMitzvos* of the Tzemach Tzedek*, at the Mitzvah* of circumcision, at the third chapter. It will be the same for all the members of the electoral committee, for the mission entrusted to them and for their intervention in the organization of the elections. With my blessing in order to give me good news always and every day, in conformity with the content of this month, since, from its beginning, one multiplies one's joy,

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבם מאדר"ח אדר עם המצורף אליו והמכתב שקדמו,

מודיעים תוצאות הבחירות.

ויהי רצון אשר יתאים הועד הנבחר לתפקידו, כפי המקווה ממיסד כפר חב"ד הוא כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, לבסס כפר חב"ד בגשם וברוח גם יחד, ובאופן דמוסיף והולך מוסיף ואור.

שהרי גם הגשם של בני ובנות ישראל, בהם בחר ה', אף שנדמו בחומריותם לענינים אלו של או"ה,

וע"פ הדגשת רבותינו נשיאינו, מתחיל מאדמו"ר הזקן,

אשר השנה, שנת המאה וחמשים להסתלקות הילולא שלו,

בענין אהבת ישראל, תתפשט השפעת כפר חב"ד ג"כ באופן האמור - הלוך והוסיף הלוך ואור, וכאמור זה כ"פ שהכפר יהי' המרכז ממנו יפוצו המעינות חוצה, מעינות דברי אלקים חיים, בכל ארצנו הקדושה ת"ו ועד שיחדירו את עניני הגשם והגוף כנ"ל.

ויעשה כל זה מתוך שמחה וטוב לבב אמיתיים.

וחמרא למרא וטיבותא לשקיא (עיין בספר המצות לאדמו"ר הצ"צ, מצות מילה פרק שלישי) לכל חברי ועדת הבחירות, על עבודתם ופעולתם בהנהלת הבחירות וכו'.

בברכה לבשו"ט תכה"י מתאים לענין חדש זה, אשר משנכנס (תיכף) מרבין בשמחה.
