By the grace of Hashem,

12 Sivan* 5723,

Brooklyn,

To the directors of the Yeshivah* Toras Emes*, in the

holy city of Yerushalayim*, may it be restored

and rebuilt, may Hashem grant you long life,

I greet you and bless you,

After the passing of the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, Rav Shimon Glitsenstein, may his soul be bound in the bond of life, it would be good, for different reasons, that his son, the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, Rav Avraham Chanoch Glitsenstein (note 1: See, regarding him, letter no. 8612), replace him in the secretariat and the direction (note 2: Of the Yeshivah* Toras Emes*).

May Hashem cause that the Yeshivah* Toras Emes* finally strengthen itself and develop, from all points of view, that it have, above all, students in conformity with the will of our masters and chiefs, its founders and its directors. This can be compared to Eretz Yisrael*, in general, which is called "the land of the deer" (note 3: According to tractate Gittin* 57a), an animal whose skin grows with the flesh. This development will therefore manifest also in the other domains concerning the Yeshivah*.

And, as our Sages* specify, regarding such situations, "the sooner the better." May Hashem therefore cause it to be so as quickly as possible, with joy and enthusiasm. With my respects, my blessing for success in this sacred mission and to give me good news thereof,

מהנכון אשר בנו הרה"ח אי"א נו"נ מו"ה אברהם חנוך שי' גליצנשטיין, ימלא מקומו במזכירות ובהנהלה ומכמה וכמה טעמים.

ויהי רצון אשר סו"ס תתבסס ותתגדל הישיבה תורת אמת בכל המובנים, ולכל לראש בתלמידים מתאימים לרצון רבותינו נשיאנו מייסדי ישיבה זו ומנהלי'.

ובדוגמת ארץ ישראל בכלל, ארץ הצבי, אשר העור גדל ע"י הבשר, הרי ההגדלה האמורה תביא ג"כ להגדלה בכל שאר עניני הישיבה.

ויהי רצון מתאים להוראת חז"ל בכגון זה, יפה שעה אחת קודם, יהי' כל הנ"ל בעגלא דידן, ומתוך שמחה וטוב לבב.
