By the grace of Hashem,

To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,

the Rav Moshe (note 1: Rav M. Shayevitch, of Chicago. See, regarding him, letter no. 7471) HaKohen*,

I greet you and bless you,

I had news of you with pleasure, some time ago, through the Rabbanim* who were delegated, the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, Rav Shneur Zalman HaLevi* Duchman, and the Chassid*, Rav Kaddish Romanov, who visited your city and also transmitted to me your request for a blessing. At a propitious moment, I mentioned your name near the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit will protect us, according to the content of your request. May Hashem cause that you give me good news thereof.

We are in Tammuz*, the month of the liberation of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, chief of Yisrael*, which is also our own liberation, for "the body follows the head" (note 2: According to tractate Eruvin* 41a). May Hashem therefore cause that each one of us, within all of Yisrael*, be delivered from all that troubles him, that he be able to serve Hashem with joy and with enthusiasm. And, this individual deliverance will be the preparation for the collective deliverance, by our righteous Moshiach*, very soon. With my blessing on the occasion of the festival of liberation and to give me good news,

נעם לי לקבל פ"ש ממנו, בשעתו, ע"י הרבנים השלוחים הוו"ח אי"א נו"נ הרה"ח מו"ה שניאור זלמן שי' הלוי דוכמאן, והרה"ח מו"ה קדיש שי' רומנוב, אשר ביקרו במחנם הט', וגם מסרו לי בקשתו ברכה פ"נ.

ובעת רצון הזכרתים על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, מתאים לתוכן הבקשה, ויהי רצון אשר יבשר טוב בזה.

ובעמדנו בחדש תמוז, הוא חדש גאולת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נשיא ישראל, וגאולתנו, שהרי גופא בתר רישא אזיל,

יהי רצון שכאו"א מאתנו בתכ"י, יגאל מכל ענינים המבלבלים, ויוכל לעבוד את ה' בשמחה ובטוב לבב.

וגאולה הפרטית תהי' הכנה לגאולה הכללית ע"י משיח צדקנו בקרוב ממש.
