By the grace of Hashem,

8 Tammuz* 5723,

To the members of the committee of Kfar Chabad*,

may Hashem grant you long life,

I greet you and bless you,

We are a few days from the propitious dates of 12 and 13 Tammuz*, those of the liberation of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, chief of Yisrael*, whose merit will protect us. May Hashem multiply the blessing and the success, both materially and spiritually, in all that concerns the Kfar*, in the public domains as well as individually, for each one of its residents. Indeed, the Kfar* was founded and it is directed by my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, chief of Yisrael*, whose joy we celebrate (note 1: The festival of the liberation).

Moreover, the peace among the inhabitants of the Kfar* has now been strengthened. It reigns among all, from the smallest to the greatest, which is also: "one toward his fellow" (note 2: The love of one's fellow applies toward the small as toward the great). Indeed, who knows the greatness and the value of the spirit and the soul, as chapter 32 of the Tanya* explains, which you will consult?

Furthermore, all are true friends, through the Torah* and the Mitzvos*. They are even the friends of the One Who gives the Torah* and Who commands the Mitzvah*, "your Friend and the Friend of your father," according to the commentary of Rashi* on tractate Shabbos* 31a. And, the assurance has been given to us (note 3: At the end of tractate Uktzin*) by our Torah*, Torah* of life, that: "the Holy One, blessed be He, did not find another receptacle containing the blessing for Yisrael* other than peace." In fact, Kfar Chabad*, as I have said, was founded and is directed by my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, chief of Yisrael*. With my blessing on the occasion of the festival of liberation, as well as to give me good news,

שלום וברכה!

בעמדנו ימים ספורים לפני ימי סגולה, י"ב וי"ג תמוז, גאולת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נשיא ישראל, זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע,

יהי רצון שתתוסף הברכה וההצלחה הן בגשמיות והן ברוחניות בכל עניני הכפר, הן הענינים הכללים והן בענינים הפרטים של כל אחד ואחת מתושבי הכפר,

שהרי הכפר הוא מיסודו ובהנהלתו של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נשיא ישראל בעל השמחה.

ובפרט אשר נתוסף ענין השלום בין תושבי הכפר, כאו"א למגדול ועד קטן, שזהו ג"כ בין איש לרעהו, כיון שהנפש והרוח מי יודע גדולתן ומעלתן וכו' (תניא פרק ל"ב עיי"ש).

ובפרט שכולם חברים אמיתיים בתורה ומצות ועד שנעשו חברים לנותן התורה והמצוה, רעך ורע אביך (עיין רש"י שבת ל"א א' ד"ה דעלך) והובטחנו בתורתנו תורת חיים, לא מצא הקב"ה כלי מחזיק ברכה לישראל אלא השלום.

וביחוד בכפר חב"ד שהוא כנ"ל מיסודו ובהנהלתו של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נשיא ישראל.
