By the grace of Hashem,

To the leadership of the Agudas Chassidei Chabad in Eretz HaKodesh*,

Greetings and blessings,

I know to what extent our leader, my father-in-law, the Rebbe, appreciated the faithful work of the Rav, distinguished Chassid who fears Hashem, of many accomplishments, Rav Zalman Tuvia[1], when he was subject to danger and distress[2].

You doubtless have no need of my opinion in this matter, and you understand that one must come to his aid in general and now in particular for his settling in.

Nevertheless, our Sages say that one urges zerizus* upon those who, by nature, possess this quality. I therefore wish to remind you and to ask you to do so. You will surely find the means, without there resulting from this any deficiency in another area.

I thank you in advance, and extend my blessing and greeting to you and to your entire community,
