By the grace of Hashem,

Greetings and blessing,

In reply to your letter of 17 Teves, which I received with delay. Yesterday, through the great Rav, distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs, Rav Ben Tzion Shemtov[1], I sent a telegram with the following text:

"Please convey my blessing to... that everything should go well, easily, and that she should give good news. With my blessing."

When I am at the tziyun* of the Frierdiker Rebbe* tomorrow, on the day of his Hilula*, I will mention your name and that of your wife for the fulfillment of all your needs. The tzaddik* who departs this world is present there even more than during his lifetime. He will surely grant his blessing, and Hashem will fulfill it, materially and spiritually—particularly on the day of the Hilula of a tzaddik who, in this regard, wrote[2]:

"Chassidim* and yeshiva talmidim*, all of you who adopt chassidic conduct and Chassidus*, prepare yourselves—you, your wives, your sons, your daughters—to receive Hashem's blessing: life, material abundance, nachas* from your children, that Hashem will grant you and grant us.

For this we will arouse great mercy from the source of true compassion and kindness, as the meilitzei yosher* obtain. Such will be the intercession of my father-in-law the Rebbe, whose Hilula we mark. And you shall be blessed with children, health, and material prosperity."

May Hashem grant that you inform me very soon of good news.

שלום וברכה!

במענה על מכ' מי"ז טבת שנתקבל באיחור זמן, שלחתי אתמול טלגרמה ע"י הרה"ג והרה"ח וו"ח אי"א נו"נ עוסק בצצ"ב וכו' וכו' מוהר"ר בן ציון שי' שם טוב, וזה לשונה:

"נא למסור ברכתי ל ...

שיהי' הכל כשורה ובנקל

ותבשר בשורות טובות ,

בברכה ".

ובהיותי על הציון של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע הכ"מ מחר ביום ההילולא הבע"ל, אזכירם אותו ואת זוג' תי' להמצטרך, וצדיקא דאתפטר, דאשתכח בהאי עלמא יתיר מבחיוהי, בטח יתן ברכתו, והשי"ת ימלאה בגשמיות וברוחניות. ובפרט ביום היאר"צ יום ההילולא של אותו צדיק שכתב במכתבו על ענין זה:

אנ"ש ותלמידי התמימים, וכל הנוטלים חלק בדרכי החסידים והחסידות, עמדו הכן כולכם, אתם נשיכם בניכם ובנותיכם, לקבל ברכת הוי' בשפעת חיים ופרנסה טובה ונחת מיוצאי לחציכם, אשר ישפיע השי"ת לכם ולנו על ידי התעוררות רחמים רבים ממקור הרחמים והחסדים האמיתים, ע"ד מכניסי רחמים, אשר יעורר כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ בעל ההילולא, וברוכים תהיו בבני חייא ומזונא רוויחא.

ויהי רצון שבקרוב ממש יבשרני בשורות טובות.
