I greet you and bless you,

I am responding to your letter of the 26th of the current month:

A) You will find enclosed the calculation of what you owe us and I ask you to kindly settle this amount as quickly as possible, as you promised, for each passing day has importance.

B) I am surprised that the package of letters for Kletzkin [2] has not yet reached you. There is undoubtedly an obstacle somewhere.

C) We have sent you, by mail, the number of conversations with the youth of the month of Menachem Av that you requested, but we still do not understand why you refuse an express shipment, which allows a substantial savings on transport costs. Indeed, the express option, here, costs us nothing.

D) We have arranged for the other publications you requested to be sent to you as well.

E) Concerning the Tallit Katan*, Zalman Shechter will write to you [3].

F) We are surprised that you have not told us whether you announced, through the press, the conclusion of the study of the Mishnah*. The same applies to the Sifreinu*. It is curious that you do not even confirm having received our letter enclosed with the "two letters" of the Rebbe Shlita* [4], which accompanied the announcement of the Sifreinu.

G) Here are our upcoming publications, with the help of Hashem: the Kuntres Umaayan* [5], the discourse [6] of last Pesach* and a compilation on the Tzemach Tzedek*. Part of all this is already at the printer.

H) The Ramach* [7] will himself answer your other questions, in the coming days, with the help of Hashem.

You have undoubtedly already received the discourse [6] of 19 Kislev*.

במענה על מכתבו מכ"ו לח"ז:

א) יקבל בצירוף לזה את חשבון המגיע מאתו ונא ונא למהר ככל האפשרי במלוי הבטחתו להשתדל בסלוק החוב, כי יש בזה חשיבות אף בהקדמת יום אחד ממש,

ב) לפלא שלא הגיע עדיין חבילת המכתבים לקלייצקין, ובטח יש איזה מעצור בדרך.

ג) השמועסן ממנ"א שלחנו לו במספר המבוקש ע"י הדואר, אף שבלתי מובן לנו עדיין מדוע לא ירצה במשלוח ע"י עקספרעס, כי לכאורה מרוויחים עי"ז הרבה בהוצאות המשלוח, כי כאן איננו משלמים בעד זה כלום לעקספרעס.

ד) צוינו לשלח לו גם את שאר עניני הדפוס שבקש.

ה) בענין הט"ק יכתב לו התלמיד זלמן שי' שכטר.

ו) תמהים אנו מה שלא הודיענו אם עשיתם דבר מה בענין פרסום במכ"ע ע"ד הסיום של משניות בע"פ, וכמו"כ ע"ד "ספרנו" (לפלא שאינו מאשר גם את קבלת מכתבנו בצרוף "שני המכתבים" מכ"ק אדמו"ר שליט"א ובצרוף מודעות ע"ד "ספרנו").

ז) עומדים כעת על הפרק לצאת לאור אי"ה הקונטרס "ומעין", שיחת פסח העבר, וקובץ ע"ד הצ"צ; חלק מזה כבר בבית הדפוס.

ח) בשאר שאלות יענה לו אי"ה בימים הקרובים הרמ"ש שי' בעצמו.

הר"ד דיט"כ בטח כבר הגיעו.
