To the directors of the Yeshiva* Ohalei Yosef Yitzchak*, in Melbourne, may Hashem grant you long life,
I greet and bless you,
I reproduce here the text of the telegram that the Rebbe Shlita* was pleased to send you on this day:
"In response to your letter, the opening of a senior Yeshiva* class,[1] as you write to me, is important and particularly judicious. Its rectors, for the revealed part of the Torah* and for Chassidut*, shall be chosen from among the Chassidim* resident on the spot.[2] For various reasons, in the interest of oversight and development, this Yeshiva* shall be located in proximity to the existing schools, at least during the first year.[3] With my blessing for considerable success in all that has been said,

Notes
(1) See Iyei HaMelech, pp. 47 and 8, as well as letters no. 9182 and 9210.
(2) In other words, the rector of this Yeshiva and its spiritual guide shall not come from another country. They shall be chosen from among the Chassidim of Australia.
(3) This class will therefore not have a specific location of its own and will not be an independent Yeshiva, but rather a branch of the elementary Yeshiva Ohalei Yosef Yitzchak, at least during the first year.

וראשי' בנגלה ובחסידות מאנ"ש שבמקום , ומכמה טעמים ולתועלת ההשגחה והתפתחותה - תהא בסמיכות מקום למוסדות הקיימים (לפחות בשנה הראשונה).
בברכת הצלחה רבה בכל האמור.

וראשי' בנגלה ובחסידות מאנ"ש שבמקום : כלומר, שלא ישתדלו להביא ראש-ישיבה ומשפיע מבחוץ, כ"א אחדים מאנ"ש שבאוסטרליה יתמנו להיות ראש-ישיבה ומשפיע.
ואשר הכתה הזאת, לא תלמד במקום מיוחד, כישיבה עצמאית, כי אם (שלפחות בשנה הראשונה) תהי' סניף לישיבה קטנה "אהל יוסף יצחק".
