I greet and bless you,
I am replying to your letter regarding your birthday.[2] You have surely observed the customs recently adopted by Chassidim* on this occasion. May Hashem grant that you have a year of success, material and spiritual, that you intensify your Torah* study and observance of its Mitzvot*, in abundance. With my blessing to give me good tidings, in general and more specifically,

Regarding your question:
A) The decision regarding the partnership with this person depends on various specific details. You shall therefore seek counsel from friends who are on the spot. In any event, it is clear that there is no reason to abandon your current source of income before finding a better one, or at the very least, before being practically certain of obtaining one.
B) Concerning the engagement of this young woman, it is presumably in her name that you are consulting me. Generally speaking, it is a good proposal.
