I bless you and greet you,
I have duly received your letter of 26 Nissan(1), requesting my blessing. At a propitious moment, it will be read near the tomb of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, may his merit protect us. With my blessing,

P.S.: You share with me your state of mind. Meditate therefore upon the fact that Hashem, blessed be He, creates the world and directs it! He extends His Providence to each and every person — man and woman — and protects from everything with an ill effect, on the condition that one conducts oneself daily in accordance with the directives of our Torah*, Torah of life, and the practice of its Mitzvot*, of which it is said(2): "One shall live by them." As the sweet singer of Israel*(3) says: "Hashem is with me, I shall not fear"(4). You will think and meditate upon this, many times over, until you are fully aware of it.
It would be good to have the Mezuzot* of your home inspected, to ensure their validity in accordance with Halacha*. You yourself will uphold the positive custom of the virtuous women of Israel, which consists of setting aside Tzedakah* before kindling the candles, on the eve of Shabbat* and the festivals.

לכתבה אודות מצב רוחה, - עלי' להתבונן בזה אשר השם יתברך ויתעלה בורא האדם ומנהיגו, משגיח על כל אחד ואחת ושומרו מכל ענינים בלתי רצוים, ובלבד שתהי' הנהגתם בחיי היום יומים מתאימה להוראות תורתנו תורת חיים ובקיום מצותי' עליהם נאמר , וחי בהם, וכדברי נעים זמירות ישראל ה' לי לא אירא, ותתבונן ותחשוב בהאמור כמה פעמים עד שיהי' זכור לה הענין בטוב.
ומהנכון אשר יבדקו את המזוזות בדירתם שתהיינה כולן כשרות כדין, והיא תשמור על מנהגן הטוב של בנות ישראל הכשרות להפריש לצדקה קודם הדלקת הנרות בכל ערב שבת וערב יום טוב.
