By the grace of Hashem,

To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,
Rav Chaim Tzvi(1),

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your request for a blessing, conveyed through(2) the great Rav and distinguished Chassid who fears Hashem, devotes himself to communal needs, and has admirable conduct — Rav Shlomo Zalman Hecht. At a propitious moment, your name will be mentioned near the holy tomb of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, may his merit protect us, so that the desires of your heart may be fulfilled in a positive manner — both regarding what you write to me and regarding everything that concerns you in general.

Without a doubt, if your father(3) — the great Rav and Chassid, may he rest in peace — developed new explanations of the revealed portion of the Torah* or of Chassidut*, you will arrange for their publication, and may Hashem grant you long life. As they come to light, they will be edited. For someone such as yourself, it is of course unnecessary to explain at length the pleasure thereby given to his soul. May Hashem therefore cause the family to strengthen its commitment to the revealed and profound Torah*, as well as to its Mitzvot*, in abundance — advancing, adding, and illuminating — until there is fulfilled the promise that(4): "They shall awaken and rejoice, those who rest in the earth," through the dew of the Torah and its light(5), which is its profound dimension(6). בודאי באם ישנם חידושי תורה בחסידות או בנגלה מאביו - יבדל לחיים טובים - הרה"ג והרה"ח וכו' ע"ה תשתדלו לסדרם באופן המתאים לדפוס, ויו"ל במשך הזמן, והנחת רוח הנגרם עי"ז להנשמה, בודאי לדכוותי' אין דורש אריכות.

ויהי רצון שיוסיפו כל המשפחה שי' בתורה הנגלה והפנימית ומצותי' מתוך הרחבה, הלוך והוסיף ואור, ועד לקיום היעוד, והקיצו ורננו שוכני עפר וכו' בטל תורה ואור תורה, הוא פנימיות התורה*.
