I bless you and greet you,

I am responding to your letter of this Thursday, in which you mention your birthday. On this occasion, you are no doubt strengthening your good conduct, as befits a daughter of Israel* — defined as a descendant of Sarah*, Rivkah*, Rachel*, and Leah*. She is, moreover, the channel and vessel for receiving the blessings of Hashem, blessed be He.

May Hashem make it so that the coming year, for the good, is for you a year of success in all that concerns you. Your parents, to whom Hashem will grant long life, will derive from you true satisfaction — that is, Jewish and Chassidic* satisfaction. With my blessing,
