I greet and bless you,

I have duly received your letter informing me of good news concerning your daughter. May Hashem bring it about that always and every day you convey to me only good news, a visible and tangible good.

I hope that you exercise your influence in every place where it extends, so that each person sets aside a fixed time for the study of the inner dimension of Torah, which in our age has been revealed through Chassidus*. This is in addition to the study of the revealed part of Torah, in particular in accordance with the words of the Baal Shem Tov*, cited in his holy epistle[1], concerning the spreading of the wellsprings[2] outward[3].
