To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, Rav Yitzchak Aizik[1],
I greet and bless you,
I am replying to your letter of 11 Menachem Av, in which you request my blessing. At a propitious moment, it will be read near the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit will protect us. With my respects and my blessing,
N.B.: I am confident that you have set aside a time for the public teaching of the inner dimension of Torah, which in our age has been revealed through Chassidus*. Its great importance in these present generations is well known, and you may consult, in this regard, the Kuntras Torat HaChassidus*[2] of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, as well as the Kuntras Etz Chaim* of the father[3] of my father-in-law. You will also see the wondrous words in the introduction of Rabbi Chaim Vital* to the Shaar HaHakdamot* of the Ari Zal*, who is living. To someone like you it is surely unnecessary to say more. Everything is an effect of divine Providence, and you exercise influence over your community. Moreover, words that emanate from the heart enter the heart and take effect there[4]. התקוה חזקה שמשתדל בקביעות עתים דתלמוד תורה דרבים בפנימיות התורה שבדורנו נתגלתה בתורת החסידות, וכידוע גודל ההכרח בזה בדורותינו אלה (ויעוין קונטרס תורת החסידות לכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, וקונטרס עץ החיים לכ"ק אדמו"ר אביו של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר - זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע) ויעיין ג"כ דברים נפלאים בהקדמת הרח"ו לשער ההקדמות להאריז"ל החי, ובודאי לדכוותי' האריכות בהאמור אך למותר.
והרי הכל בהשגחה פרטית שיש לכ' השפעה בק"ק ודברים היוצאים מן הלב נכנסים אל הלב ופועלים פעולתם.
