I greet and bless you,

I received your letters. You have surely received[6] my telegram and you will consult the Likutei Torah* at the beginning of the portion Tzav, as I mentioned. You will find there[7] a discourse on a related topic.

Regarding the matter of the encyclopedia: after examining what has been done, the approach is correct in its broad outlines. Nevertheless, several points must be clarified and improved before any final decision is made on the format and publication. I have already spoken about this with Rabbi...[8] and he will convey my detailed thoughts to you.

As to the question you raise about the Halachic* ruling on this matter: consult with the relevant Rabbinical authorities and they will guide you. There is no reason to delay on account of this, as similar cases have been ruled upon and the precedents are clear.

In the matter of strengthening the community: the approach you are taking is the right one. Continue with energy and do not be discouraged by difficulties. Those who engage faithfully in communal work for the sake of Heaven receive divine assistance. With my blessing,
