There is no reason[1] to establish an office, as there are already enough of them[2]. If talks whose text has not been corrected are disseminated, some people — outside the students of the Yeshiva* Tomchei Temimim* — will attribute the errors to me, despite the declarations that have been made on this subject, with all the undesirable consequences that may follow. You must understand what I mean. This is not the case, however, for the books of our masters that are currently being published. In addition to their holiness and their rigorous truth — which are, in the final analysis, the essential aspect — these are indeed proofread. This is also true for the proofreading[3] of the Talks with the Young in Yiddish*, in English, as well as that of the Yiddish Heim*[4].

[2] Rav Shem Tov asked the Rabbi whether he should create an office for the dissemination of the Rabbi's talks. It was following this request that the "committee for the dissemination of talks" was founded.
