Your annual dinner will take place, this year, on the 11th of Sivan[2], in days still connected to the festival of Shavuot*[3]. Without a doubt, all the participants will still be under the recent impact of the time of the giving of our Torah*[4]. Now, Jewish women, in particular, must gather this influence from the festival of the receiving of the Torah*. As is known, they were the first to receive from Hashem the injunction concerning the holy Torah, and they accepted it immediately, in accordance with the interpretation given by our Sages of the verse[5]: "Thus, you shall speak to the house of Yaakov"[4], these are the women, "and you shall say to the children of Israel"[4], these are the men. This situation underlines the great merit of Jewish women, as well as their immense responsibility toward the Torah and the Mitzvot*.

Each year, the content of the festival is revealed anew, and this fact underlines precisely that the connection with the Torah and the Mitzvot must be renewed and refreshed, in a greatly increased proportion, from year to year, especially when one considers that the strengths of a person likewise increase each year. It is therefore quite clear that your important action of supporting the holy Torah institutions belonging to the Lubavitch* movement must in turn be strengthened and developed each year, all the more so as these Torah institutions are constantly expanding and need ever-increasing support.

May Hashem make your annual celebration a great success, strengthen and invigorate your action, both quantitatively and qualitatively. By this merit, you will receive, together with the members of your family, increased blessings in all your needs, both materially and spiritually. ואף שמדי שנה חוזרים על עצמם כל עניני החג ,אבל זה עצמו מרמז

שההחברות לתורה ומצוות צריכה להתחדש ולהתרענן במידה חזקה

משנה לשנה ,במיוחד כשלוקחים בחשבון שגם הכחות האנושיים

משגשגים משנה לשנה.

לכן זה לגמרי מובן ,שעבודתן החשובה ,לתמוך במוסדות התורה

הקדושים של ליובאוויטש ,צריכה להתחזק ולהתרחב משנה לשנה ,בפרט

שגם מוסדות התורה משגשגים וזקוקים לסיוע מוגדל יותר ויותר.

יתן הקב״ה ,שהארוע השנתי יהיה בהצלחה רבה ויחדיר חיות

מחודשת בעבודתן ,בכמות ובאיכות ,ובזכות זה כולכן ,עם בני הבית שלהן

שיחיו ,תתברכו בתוספת ברכות בכל מה שנחוץ ,בגשמיות וברוחניות גם

יחד.
