By the grace of Hashem,

I greet you and bless you,

I received your letter in due time[1], and subsequently the X-rays. My response was delayed because I received only yesterday the letter from the physician friend to whom I had asked to obtain a specialist's opinion in this matter. I must add that, even setting aside that correspondence, there are several specialist physicians in our Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt, "the land toward which Hashem's eyes are always turned, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year"[2]. Hashem "heals all flesh and He performs wonders." A physician of flesh and blood is, in this matter, only His emissary*[3].

All is the effect of divine Providence and, following what has just been said, I must add a point that is likewise essential. The means, the channel, the vessel through which to obtain the blessings of the One Who heals all flesh and performs wonders is the strengthening of one's faith and trust in Hashem, the fulfillment of His Mitzvot*, such that one experiences "elevation in the realm of holiness"[4]. It would be good to have your Tefillin* checked if this has not been done within the last twelve months. With my blessing for good health, to be inscribed and sealed for a good year, and likewise to give me good news,

בעתו קבלתי מכתבו ולאחרי כן גם הצילומים. ונתעכב המענה כי רק אתמול קבלתי המכתב מרופא ידיד שבקשתיו לברר דעת מומחה במקצוע זה. ומצורף בזה העתק מכתב הרופא.

עלי להוסיף אשר גם לולא מכתב הנ"ל הרי כמה רופאים מומחים נמצאים באה"ק ת"ו, ארץ אשר עיני ה"א בה מראשית השנה ועד אחרית שנה, והרי הוא רופא כל בשר ומפליא לעשות ורופא בו"ד אינו אלא שלוחו.

כיון שהכל בהשגחה פרטית, ובהמשך להאמור, עלי להוסיף - אבל גם זה עיקר - אשר הדרך והצנור והכלי לקבלת ברכות הרופא כל בשר ומפליא לעשות היא ההתחזקות באמונה ובטחון בהשי"ת ובמלוי מצוותיו באופן דמעלין בקדש.

מהראוי שיבדוק [ה]תפילין - באם לא נבדקו משך י"ב חודש האחרונים.

מבהיל!!! וידבר עוה"פ עם.. ובודאי יוכל למצוא עצה שיעשה זה בהקדים הכי אפשרי כוונתי בימים - שהרי המדובר בענין שנכרתו עליו י"ג בריתות וכל מצות התורה רק ג' בריתות ועיין רמב"ם סוף הל' מילה " למרע"ה עלי' אפילו שעה אחת אע"פ שהי' כו'" ובפרט לאחר מ"ת. ואם נפק"מ בהוצאות כספיות - יסולק מהמזכ' .
