I received[1] with pleasure your greetings, conveyed through this teacher, as well as your request for a blessing for the new year. Now, Hashem said through His prophets[2]: "Israel is a youth and I love him." He will therefore bless each and every one of you with a good and sweet year, in the course of which you will succeed in your studies and in your conduct. You will be in good health, joyful and enthusiastic, in accordance with the hope of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose name your kindergarten and your school bear. Furthermore, you have the merit of being in our Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt by our righteous Mashiach* — "the land toward which Hashem's eyes are always turned, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year"[3]. May Hashem grant that your parents and teachers derive from you much traditional Jewish satisfaction,

והשם יתברך אשר אמר על ידי נביאיו "כי נער ישראל ואוהבהו" יברך את כל אחד ואחת מכם בשנה טובה ומתוקה להצליח בלימודים ובהנהגה שלכם, בריאים שמחים וטובי לב, מתאים לתקות כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, אשר על שמו נקרא הגן והבי"ס, ובפרט שזכיתם להיות בארצנו הקדושה, תבנה ותכונן על ידי משיח צדקנו, ארץ אשר עיני ה"א בה מראשית השנה ועד אחרית שנה.
ויהי רצון שהוריכם ומוריכם שיחיו ישבעו מכם רוב נחת יהודי מסורתי.
