By the grace of Hashem,

I greet you and bless you,

I am replying to your letter of this Monday. It is, of course, out of the question to give instructions from another continent regarding a conflict between two people, especially after having heard only one of the two[1]. You will therefore address yourself directly to the person to whom you are alluding, or else, to use the formulation of our Sages[2], you will multiply your friends[3].

With my blessing,
