To Mr. Shneur Zalman Mischari[1],

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letter of 30 Cheshvan*, as well as the previous one, and I thank you for them. In the meantime, I have already received correspondence from the residents of Kfar Chabad*, who wrote to me of the strong impression made by your words at the press conference held at Kfar Chabad*.

May Hashem cause the words of the verse[2] to be fulfilled at last: "Truth will sprout from the earth," in all areas, communal and individual, including as regards Kfar Chabad*, which will be, as we discussed when you were here, a center for the dissemination of Chassidut* throughout the entire Holy Land*, may it be restored and rebuilt.

We are on the eve of the festival of liberation of the founder of Chabad*, the Admor HaZaken*. May Hashem therefore cause this auspicious day to find concrete expression, as must be the case for everything concerning the people of Israel, for, in the words of our Sages[3]: "action is essential." I also extend to you my particular blessing for a full and prompt decision, as well as for the days of 19 Kislev*[4] and Chanukah* that follow — days of light, joy, and also intense activity,

הנני לאשר בתודה קבלת מכתבו מיום ל' בחשון והקודמו. ובינתים כבר קבלתי מכתב מאנשי כפר חב"ד שכתבו לי על דבר הרושם החזק שעשו דבריו במסיבת העתונאים שנתקיימה בכפר חב"ד.

ויהי רצון שסוף סוף יקויים הכתוב אמת מארץ תצמח – אמת מארץ הקודש תצמח – בכל הענינים הכלליים והפרטיים, כולל עניני כפר חב"ד, שיהי', כמו שדברנו כשהי' כאן, מרכז להפצת החסידות בכל אה"ק תותבב"א.

ובעמדנו ערב יום הגאולה של מייסד חב"ד, אדמו"ר הזקן זי"ע, יהי רצון שזכרון יום סגולה זה, ככל עניני עם ישראל, יתבטא באופן מעשי, ובלשון חכמינו ז"ל המעשה הוא העיקר.

בברכה מיוחדת לכ' לרפואה שלמה וגם קרובה, וליום י"ט כסלו וימי חנוכה הסמוכים אליו – ימי אור שמחה וגם פעילות.
