To the great Rav*, distinguished and pleasant Chassid* who fears Hashem, has good conduct, a communal leader with multiple responsibilities, a man of quality descended from an illustrious family,

I greet and bless you,

I learn from the press that you have already returned to the Holy Land*, may it be restored and rebuilt, following your travels and journeys. I take this opportunity to express my gratitude for having taken the trouble to send me the publications of your addresses to the Knesset*: the booklets "youth and education," "without faith there is no trust," "you shall sound the trumpet," and "events and their lessons." Without doubt, when more appear, you will send them to me as well.

I have expressed, in my manner, the hope that you will make use of the powers and capacities granted to you to strengthen traditional Judaism, without compromise. We have been given the assurance[2] that words that come from the heart enter the heart and act upon it, and that they lead to concrete action.

I am enclosing the booklet of 10 Shevat*, which appeared recently on the occasion of the Hillulah* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us. I am hopeful that it will interest you, knowing how closely you were bound to him, may Hashem grant you long life. With my respects and my blessing,

רואני מהעתונות שכת"ר חזר כבר לאהקת"ו מנדודיו ונסיעותיו, והנני משתמש בהזדמנות זו להביע לו ת"ח בעד שימת לבבו לשלוח לי פרסומי נאומיו בכנסת (החוברות: הנוער והחנוך, באין אמונה – אין אימון, ותקעתם בחצוצרות, המאורעות והלקחים). ובודאי כשיופיעו עוד כגון אלו ישלח גם אותם, ות"ח מראש.

ויהי רצון שכל אחד מאתנו בתוככי כלל ישראל ינצל הכוחות והאפשריות שניתנו לו, להחזקת היהדות המסורתית בלי פשרות, והובטחנו דברים היוצאים מן הלב נכנסים אל הלב ופועלים פעולתם, ואף כי מעשים בפועל.

מוסג"פ קובץ יו"ד שבט שהוצאנו לאור לאחרונה בקשר עם יום ההילולא של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, שתקותי שיענין את כת"ר, ובפרט בידעי היחס שהי' ביניהם, יבדלו מחיים לחיים.
