Igrot Kodesh · Letter 9465

Volume 25 · Letter 87 · 11 Adar 5728 · To: sein de tout Israël

By the grace of Hashem,

11 Adar 5728,
Brooklyn, New York,

To the attention of Mr. Avraham Gad Macherovski,[1]
Aruba,

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letter of 8 Adar, together with what was enclosed.[2] The merit of the Tzedaka*, for which you will find enclosed a receipt, will protect you and all your family in all your needs, both material and spiritual.

The days of Purim* are approaching and may Hashem bring it about that "in these days" it be as "at that time," so that "for the Jews there was light, joy, gladness and honor"[3] — both in the plain sense of these words and according to their deeper meaning, as our Sages explain:[4] "the light — that is the Torah*..." And we will go from one redemption to another, meriting, together with all Israel, the true and complete redemption, through our righteous Mashiach*, very soon.

I wish you a joyous Purim*, as well as all of yours, and may you always be well. With my blessing to give me good news,
