To the members of the committee[1] of the synagogue founded by the Rebbe*, our master and leader, Rabbi Menachem Mendel, the Tzemach Tzedek*, within the walls of Jerusalem,[2] may it be restored and rebuilt very soon and in our days, Amen, may Hashem grant you long life,
I greet you and bless you,
As a follow-up to my letter of 2 Nissan,[3] I propose, in the present letter, that the Yeshiva* and Collel Tzemach Tzedek* take up residence in this synagogue and house of study, as had been discussed.[4] In addition to the regular study program, a specific study of the teaching of the Tzemach Tzedek* will be provided there, both from the revealed part of the Torah* and from the Chassidut*.
On the occasion of the Hilloula* of 13 Nissan,[5] which is this year the one hundred and second[6] since his passing, an addition will be made to the previously defined studies, in this synagogue. This addition will cover both the revealed part of the Torah* and the Chassidut*, and in particular his Or Torah*,[7] the light of the Torah*, which has just been published for the first time from the manuscript and which has been sent to you under separate cover.
May Hashem cause you to give me good news of everything that has just been said, as well as of the content of my letter of 2 Nissan. You will tell me in particular that the work of restoring the building is being carried out with urgency, including in the literal sense, in all its aspects and all its parts. This house will grow ever greater, as I said in the first letter, in the domain of prayer since it is a synagogue, and in that of Torah* since it is a house of study, "for the glory, renown and splendor"[8] of Chabad*, as the Admor HaZaken* explains in his well-known Chassidic discourse[9] on the Parasha*: "And it shall be, when you come to the land that Hashem your Hashem..." — and a discourse of the Rebbe Maharach* on this verse,[12] this explanation having been given exactly one hundred years ago. With my blessing of success in all that has just been said, as well as to give me good news of all this as quickly as possible, and wishing you a kosher* and joyous Pesach* festival,

בהמשך למכתבי מב' ניסן, הנני בזה להציע אשר הישיבה והכולל "צמח צדק" יהי' מקומם הקבוע בביהכ"נ ובביה"מ האמור, וכמדובר מאז – ביחד עם סדר הלימודים הרגיל יהי' לימוד במיוחד בתורתו של כ"ק אדמו"ר הצמח צדק הן בנגלה והן בחסידות.
בקשר עם יום ההילולא שלו י"ג ניסן, אשר בשנה זו ק"ב שנה להסתלקות הילולא שלו, יוסיפו על לימודם האמורים בביהכ"נ האמור, הוספה הן בלימוד הנגלה והן בלימוד החסידות, ובפרט באור תורתו אשר הופיע עתה לראשונה מכתבי-יד, ונשלח בפ"ע.
ויהי רצון שיבשרו בשורות טובות בכל האמור לעיל, וכן בתוכן מכתבי מב' ניסן, כולל אשר בזריזות מתנהלת עבודת שיפור הבנין וגם כפשוטו, לכל פרטיו וחלקיו,
והולך הבית וגדל, כאמור במכתבי ראשון, בענין התפלה (בית הכנסת) ובענין התורה (בית המדרש) לתהילה ולשם ולתפארת – חב"ד, וכביאור רבנו הזקן במאמרו הידוע בפ' והי' כי תבוא אל הארץ אשר ה"א נותן לך נחלה וירשת וישבת בה, עה"פ היום הזה.
עדי נזכה לקיום היעוד כימי צאתך מארץ מצרים אראנו נפלאות, כפשוטו וכתוכנו ופנימיותו, כמבואר במאמר כ"ק אדמו"ר מהר"ש על פסוק זה, אשר השתא מלאו מאה שנה לביאורו של ענין זה.
