I bless you and greet you,

I have duly received your letter[1] and your request for a blessing[2]. At an auspicious moment, it will be read near the tomb of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, may his merit protect us.

You surely observe the positive custom of Jewish women of Israel* — setting aside Tzedakah*[3] before lighting the candles, on the eve of Shabbat* and the festivals. At the very least, you will adopt this practice going forward, without making a vow. With my blessing for good news to be given to me,

P.S.: Without doubt, you surely participate in the activities of the Chabad* women of Jerusalem*, may it be restored and rebuilt. May Hashem grant you success.
