To the graduating students of Beit Rivka* of Montreal*,
may Hashem grant you long life,

I bless you and greet you,

I learned with pleasure that you are about to receive your graduation diplomas. May Hashem cause this to be at a good and fruitful moment, when one may perceive your deep motivation to be true Chabad* girls and daughters of Israel*.

You are students of Beit Rivka* and therefore surely know how to appreciate the particular merit of a daughter of Israel* — a descendant of Sarah*, Rebecca*, Rachel*, and Leah* — and above all of a Chabad* girl. This merit is bound to your mission as "mistress of the home"[1].

In our era[2] and in current conditions, various domains of managing a home and the moral situation of the Jewish household — such as educating children — have been transferred, to a certain extent, from the "master of the home"[3] to the "mistress of the home"[3], meaning that Jewish girls must receive a much broader and deeper preparation than in previous generations.

You have had the merit of studying and being educated at Beit Rivka*, where you received the appropriate preparation for life. Nevertheless, success in this matter depends largely on you yourselves — the students — on your firm will, your enthusiasm, your ardor, and your conduct. May Hashem therefore grant you the success of knowing elevation in this matter, from strength to strength[4], from good to better. You will be an inexhaustible source of true Jewish and Chassidic* satisfaction for your parents, your teachers, and for the entire people of Israel*. With my blessing of success and to give me good news,

בפרט; הזכות הקשורה בעתידן בתור ״עקרת הבית״.

בזמננו ,ובתנאים הנוכחיים ,חובות רבים בקשר להנהגת הבית,

המצב הרוחני של הבית היהודי ,חינוך הילדים וכדומה ,עברו במידה

משמעותית מבעל־הבית אל עקרת־הבית .והכונה בכך היא ,שבנות
