By the grace of Hashem,

I greet and bless you,

I am responding to your letter of 18 Sivan: you will follow the prescription of Dr. Winick and, at a propitious moment, I will mention your name near the tomb of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit will protect us. With my blessing for healing, as well as to give me good news.

If you have questions in the future, you will address them to your spiritual guide[1] and you will follow[2] his advice, as I have written to you on several[2] occasions, in accordance with a well-known[2] directive of our masters and leaders. There is therefore no reason to write here again on this subject — whether it is on the advice of the spiritual guide or on your own initiative. The same applies to your decision to remain at Kfar Chabad* or to return here.

(1) Presumably that of the Yeshiva* of Kfar Chabad, of which the recipient of this letter is a student.
(2) The Rebbe emphasizes the words: "you will follow," "several" and "well-known."

באם יתעוררו אצלו שאלות בכיו"ב להבא – ישאל ויעשה כהוראות המשפיע שי' (וכפי שעניתיו כמה פעמים, וזהו ע"פ הוראה הידועה של רבותינו נשיאינו, ובמילא אין תועלת באם יכתבו לכאן – ע"פ עצת המשפיע או מדעת עצמו – עוד בזה), וכן בנוגע לשהותו בכחב"ד או חזרתו לכאן.
