To the distinguished Chasid* who fears Hashem and dedicates himself to communal needs, Mr. Shmuel Yosef Grinbaum, president of the Knesset Yisrael* community, Bundy, Australia,

I greet you and bless you,

I received your letter with pleasure and I enclose with this letter a copy of the telegram I sent you. I hope you received it in due time. Happy is your portion, for you have appointed Rabbi Pinchas Shlita HaCohen[1] as rabbi of your synagogue and rector of your Yeshiva*. He is indeed one of the finest students of the holy Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim* Lubavitch.

Through the collaboration of each of you, it is certain that there will be fulfilled for you: "Bless us, our Father, all as one, by the Light of Your countenance"[2]. You will strengthen the community and develop it, in accordance with the needs of the period and even beyond them, until there is fulfilled the promise of our Sages[3] that: "the synagogues and houses of study of Babylon will be transferred to the Land of Israel*, upon the true and complete redemption, by our righteous Mashiach*."

I send you my blessing to be inscribed and sealed — yourself and all the members of your community — for a good and sweet year, materially and spiritually. With my respects,

ואשרי חלקם שבחרו בהרב פנחס שליט"א הכהן לרב דקהלתם ולראש הישיבה, שהרי הוא מטובי תלמידי הישיבה הק' "תומכי תמימים" ליובאַוויטש.

ובודאי בשיתוף פעולת כל אחד ואחד מהם יקויים בהם ברכנו אבינו כלנו כאחד באור פניך, לבסס הקהלה ולהרחיבה מתאים לדרישת השעה ויותר, עדי יקוים יעוד חכמינו ז"ל עתידין בתי כנסיות ובתי מדרשות שבבבל שייקבעו בארץ ישראל בגאולה האמיתית והשלמה על ידי משיח צדקנו.
